Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a casserole dish with coconut oil.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together softened dairy-free butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
Cooking
  1. In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon to coat evenly.
  2. Transfer the apple mixture to the greased casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle the oatmeal crumble mixture evenly over the apples, pressing clumps together.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes until the topping is light golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Serving
