Preparation
  1. Combine all ingredients except for the cornstarch mixture in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring regularly.
Cooking
  1. Once the sugar is dissolved, stir in the cornstarch mixture, stirring continually.
  2. Continue stirring for about a minute until the sauce thickens.
Serving
  1. Let the sauce cool completely, then pour it into an airtight jar and store it in the fridge.

Notes

For best results, stir continuously during cooking to avoid burning. Let the sauce cool completely before storing to avoid condensation inside the jar.
