Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the bell peppers by slicing the tops off and removing the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, sauté diced onions until translucent.
  4. Add ground turkey or beef and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in cooked brown rice or quinoa and tomato sauce, followed by spices. Mix well and cook for a few minutes longer.
  6. Stuff each bell pepper with the filling mix, pressing down firmly.
  7. Place stuffed peppers upright in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  8. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is heated through.
  9. Optionally, sprinkle cheese on top during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Notes

Can be customized for gluten-free or dairy-free diets; meal-prep friendly. Wrap peppers in foil for a softer texture if preferred. Avoid overcooking to prevent mushiness.
