Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak Any preferred cut like flank or sirloin.
  • 4 cups Mixed greens Can substitute with kale or spinach.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved for better texture.
  • 1 medium Cucumber Sliced.
  • 1/4 medium Red onion Thinly sliced.
  • 1 medium Avocado Diced.
For the Dressing
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Helps to bind the ingredients.
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar Adds depth of flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness is reached.
  4. Once cooked, remove the steak and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
Salad Assembly
  1. Combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and red onion in a large bowl.
  2. Slice the rested steak thinly against the grain.
  3. Add the steak and diced avocado to the salad.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then toss gently to combine.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for perfect steak doneness. Marinating steak can enhance flavor. Prep veggies in advance to save time. Avoid overcooking for the best texture.
