Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cooking
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth.
- Gradually blend in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Mix in the egg, orange zest, fresh orange juice, vanilla extract, and almond extract until incorporated.

Icing
- In a bowl, mix confectioners' sugar with orange juice to create a smooth icing.
- Drizzle or spread the orange icing over the cooled cookies.
- Add extra zest to the top of the cookies for garnish if desired.
Notes
