Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, honey, sesame oil, mirin, and water mixed with cornstarch.
Cooking
  1. Pour the combined mixture into a small saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat and simmer for about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

Notes

This glaze can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. Freezing is also an option for up to three months.
