- In a small mixing bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, honey, sesame oil, mirin, and water mixed with cornstarch.
Cooking
- Pour the combined mixture into a small saucepan.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat and simmer for about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Serving
- Once thickened, remove from heat and your sauce is ready to be drizzled over your favorite dishes.
Notes
This glaze can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. Freezing is also an option for up to three months.
