Ingredients
  

Tea and Base
  • 6 bags black tea bags Provides the robust base flavor for the iced tea.
  • 4 cups water Needed to brew the tea.
Peach Puree
  • 3 cups peach slices Adds natural sweetness and fruity essence.
Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup sugar Sweetens the tea and enhances the peach flavor.
  • 1 cup water for simple syrup Essential for dissolving sugar.
Additional Water
  • 4 cups cool water To dilute the brewed tea before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan until boiling.
  2. Add 6 tea bags and steep for about 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool.
  3. In another saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea and simple syrup, then add the pureed peaches and remaining 4 cups of cool water, stirring well.
  5. Refrigerate until chilled, then serve over ice.

Notes

Serve with fresh peach slices and mint for garnish. This drink is perfect for summer gatherings, BBQs, and picnics.
