Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and scrub the red-skinned potatoes thoroughly; remove any blemishes.
- Cut the potatoes into even wedges or sticks for uniform cooking.
Cooking
- In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Cut the potatoes into similar sizes for even cooking. For a spicy kick, toss with cayenne pepper before baking. These fries are gluten-free and can be made dairy-free by leaving out any butter.
