Coating and Baking
- Dredge each onion ring in the flour, shaking off excess.
- Dip the ring into the egg mixture, coating evenly.
- Finally, press the egg-coated onion into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring a good layer of coating.
- Place the coated rings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, making sure they are not touching.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
For best results, use a sharper knife when cutting onions for cleaner rings; keep enough space between the rings on the baking sheet to avoid steaming. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
