Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Chicken Breast Tender protein for a satisfying meal.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Oranges (juiced) Provides vibrant flavor and natural sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Adds depth and saltiness.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Enhances sweetness and creates a lovely glaze.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Adds aromatic complexity.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced) Contributes warmth and a hint of spice.
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch For coating the chicken.
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions (sliced) Fresh garnish and flavor addition.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until coated evenly.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, around 6-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the fresh orange juice, soy sauce, and honey. Stir to combine and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return the crispy chicken to the pan, stirring to coat in the sauce.
  5. Top with sliced green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Pro Tips: Don’t overcrowd the pan for even crispiness. For gluten-free, substitute soy sauce with tamari. Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat.
