Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat, combine the olive oil and unsalted butter until melted and hot.
  2. Place the fresh green beans in the pan and sauté for about 8 minutes, mixing often, until they become tender and some turn golden brown.
  3. Mix in the finely minced garlic, salt, pepper, and optional red chili flakes. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the garlic is golden brown and fragrant.
  4. Take the pan off the stove, and serve the sautéed green beans warm, garnished with fresh herbs or nuts if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice just before serving. Adjust the garlic based on your preference. For crunchier beans, toss less frequently.
