Preparation
- Heat sesame oil and vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet or pan over high heat.
- Add the steak to the pan and stir fry for about 5 minutes until the pinkness is gone and the beef is light brown.
- Toss in red, yellow, green peppers, onions, garlic, and ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, sriracha sauce, honey, and dissolved cornstarch, then mix until combined.
- Continue cooking for a few more minutes until the sauce is reduced and thickened to your desired consistency.
- Garnish with red chili flakes (if using) and finely sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freezing cooked steak for up to 2 months is also possible. Serve over rice or quinoa for best results.
