Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into 2-inch cubes.
  2. In a large nonstick pot, add the sweet potatoes and enough water to cover them.
  3. Cook on medium-high heat until tender, about 15–20 minutes.
  4. Drain the cooked sweet potatoes and return them to the pot with the heat turned off.
Mixing
  1. To the sweet potatoes, add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, butter, honey, and milk.
  2. Use a hand mixer to whip everything together, adding milk gradually (start with 1/4 cup and adjust to your desired consistency).
Serving
  1. Garnish with finely chopped parsley and a few slices of butter. Enjoy!

Notes

Can be made ahead of time and reheats well. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
