Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil salted water in a large pot.
  2. Prepare the green beans by adding them to the boiling water and cooking for about 3-4 minutes until tender but firm.
  3. Drain the beans and rinse them under cold water or place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
Cooking
  1. Melt clarified butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté the sliced onions until soft and golden, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the cooled green beans and sauté for an additional 2 minutes to combine.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the sautéed vegetables.
  2. Sprinkle with sliced almonds before serving.

Notes

For best results, add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat, or try incorporating cherry tomatoes for a sweet burst of flavor. The dish can be prepared in advance and stored for up to three days in the refrigerator.
