  • 1 lb shrimp Fresh or thawed if frozen
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh for best texture
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed for flavor
  • 4 tbsp butter For a rich creamy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • to taste salt Basic seasoning
  • to taste pepper Basic seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Used for cooking shrimp
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes Optional for heat

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, flipping halfway until pink.
  4. Stir in broccoli and cook for an additional 3 minutes until bright green and tender.
  5. Pour in lemon juice and add butter, stirring until melted and well combined.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon slices if you like.

Notes

This recipe is meal prep-friendly and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. Freezing is also an option, but best enjoyed fresh.
