Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and fresh ginger, stirring quickly until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, crumbling it with a wooden spoon for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove any excess grease from the pan.
  5. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and ground ginger (if using).
  6. Continue cooking for a few more minutes until the beef is shiny and well-coated.
  7. Stir in the chopped green onions and remove from the heat.
  8. Serve over hot rice and garnish with additional sesame oil, sesame seeds, and extra green onions.

Notes

This dish is perfect for meal prep and can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to three months. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
