Preparation
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut or tear it into small bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
- In a large bowl, coat the tofu pieces with flour, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the tofu and cook until crispy and lightly browned, about 8 minutes, tossing often.
- Meanwhile, whisk together cornstarch, soy sauce, honey, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sriracha, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Once the tofu is crispy, lower the heat to medium-low and pour in the sauce. Stir until coated and let simmer for about 5 minutes, or until thickened.
- Plate the tofu and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, press the tofu properly and consider marinating it for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet for a crispy texture.
