Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
  2. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat, parchment paper, or greased foil.
  3. Cut each pita bread into 8 triangles.
Cooking
  1. Spread the pita triangles out on the baking sheet, ensuring they don’t touch each other.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and sea salt.
  3. Spray or brush the chips with olive oil and sprinkle half of the seasoning mix on one side.
  4. Turn the chips over, apply more oil, and sprinkle the remaining seasonings on top.
  5. Bake for about 8 minutes, checking at 6 minutes to rotate the pan if necessary.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chips cool completely before serving.

Notes

Store pita chips in an airtight container for up to a week to maintain crispiness. For best results, serve warm or refresh in the oven for a couple of minutes if stored.
