Ingredients
  

For the Ice Cream Base
  • 2 cups high protein milk Provides a creamy base and adds protein.
  • 2 medium ripe bananas Adds natural sweetness and a smooth texture.
  • 1 scoop whey vanilla protein powder Boosts protein content and enhances flavor.
For the Crunch
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers Introduces a delightful crunch to the ice cream.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine the high protein milk, ripe bananas, and vanilla protein powder into an empty Ninja Creami pint.
  2. Use an immersion blender to blend until smooth.
  3. Freeze the combined mixture for 8 to 24 hours or until fully frozen.
Blending
  1. Place the frozen pint onto the Creami machine and run the Lite Ice Cream cycle once.
  2. Remove from the machine and add 1 tablespoon of milk. Run the re spin cycle once.
  3. Make a well in the center of the mixture, add crushed vanilla wafers, and place the pint back onto the Creami.
  4. Run the Mix In cycle.
  5. If the mixture is still powdery, add another tablespoon of milk and run the Re Spin cycle again.
Serving
  1. Once the ice cream reaches your desired consistency, portion it into bowls or enjoy straight from the pint.
  2. Store leftovers in the Ninja Creami pint with the lid on. Let it sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before re-spinning.

Notes

For best results, use very ripe bananas, blend thoroughly, and experiment with toppings like fresh fruit or nuts.
