- Grate your cucumber (skin on is fine) on the medium or large holes of a box grater. Then gently squeeze excess water out in a cheesecloth over the sink.
- Add all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Mix gently until combined.
- Taste the tzatziki and adjust the seasonings to your preference – add more salt, pepper, lemon juice, or dill.
- Serve immediately with pita chips or store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Notes
This tzatziki can be customized with additional herbs or spices. Letting it sit for 30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving enhances its flavors.
