Preparation
  1. In an 8x8 baking dish or trifle bowl, place a single layer of vanilla wafer cookies with the flat side down.
  2. Use 2 bananas to create a layer of sliced bananas over the vanilla wafers.
  3. Carefully spread half of the yogurt over the banana layer.
  4. Top with half of the thawed whipped topping and smooth it out evenly.
  5. Add another layer of vanilla wafers on top of the whipped topping.
  6. Top with the remaining sliced bananas using the other 2 bananas.
  7. Spread the remaining yogurt over the bananas, ensuring it covers them well.
  8. Spread on the final layer of whipped topping evenly.
  9. Sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers and a few banana slices on top for decoration.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow flavors to meld and set properly.

Notes

For optimal flavor, let the pudding chill overnight. You can use flavored Greek yogurt or integrate crushed nuts for added texture, and always cut the bananas evenly for balanced layers.
