Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, olive oil, lime juice, and cinnamon and whisk to blend. Set aside.
Cooking
- Heat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. When hot, lightly coat the grates with oil spray.
- Lightly brush the pineapple slices with the marinade.
- Grill the slices, turning once and basting once or twice with the remaining marinade, until tender and golden, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Serving
- Serve warm, optionally topped with ice cream for a delightful treat.
Notes
For best results, use ripe pineapples and serve immediately after grilling.
