Preparation
- Make the dry rub: In a small bowl, combine all the dry rub ingredients and mix them lightly.

Cooking
- Preheat the grill: Preheat the grill and oil the grates. Grill chicken on medium heat for 5 minutes, flip, and adjust pieces for even cooking.
- Baste the chicken: Start basting with BBQ sauce when chicken is 80% done and cook for 2 more minutes, flipping and basting the other side. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

- Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving, garnishing if desired.
