Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts The main protein that absorbs the delicious marinade.
  • Optional Fresh herbs Optional garnish for a burst of freshness and color.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large ziptop bag or bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper with the chicken.
  2. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, ideally 2-3 hours.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  3. Grill chicken for approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.
Serving
  1. Allow chicken to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Optionally garnish with fresh herbs and serve.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. You can rub leftover marinade on vegetables for grilling alongside the chicken. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
