  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter Provides richness and helps to brown the mushrooms.
  • 500 grams mushrooms (shiitake, cremini, or button) Adds a savory, umami flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Enhances the natural flavors.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Infuses the dish with a robust scent and taste.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Adds a pop of color and freshness.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the vegan butter in a pan over medium-high heat until melted.
  2. Add the mushrooms and salt to the pan, swirling the ingredients together.
  3. Let the mushroom mixture cook for about 3-5 minutes on one side without moving them to allow caramelization.
  4. Turn the mushrooms over and let them brown on the other side for another 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add the minced garlic and reduce the heat to medium. The garlic should sizzle when added.
  6. Sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, mixing everything to prevent burning.
  7. Stir in the chopped parsley and heat through for another 30 seconds.
  8. Remove from heat, sprinkle more parsley on top, and serve. Enjoy as a side or addition to a main dish.

Notes

For best results, use a variety of mushrooms, ensure the pan is hot before cooking, and do not overcrowd the pan.
