Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper.
Cooking
  1. Add chicken thighs to the skillet; sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken; reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Check chicken doneness; it should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for more flavor. Can be meal prepped and stored for up to four days. For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper to the marinade.
