- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper.
Cooking
- Add chicken thighs to the skillet; sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken; reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
- Check chicken doneness; it should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for more flavor. Can be meal prepped and stored for up to four days. For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper to the marinade.
