Dressing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash all your fresh vegetables thoroughly under cool running water.
  2. Dry the lettuce using a salad spinner or gently pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces, and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Dice the tomatoes and cucumbers, and slice the carrots and red onions thinly.
  5. Chop the bell peppers into small pieces or strips for extra crunch.
Cooking / Assembling
  1. Add all cut vegetables into the bowl with the lettuce.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  3. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  4. Gently toss the salad using salad tongs or your hands until everything is well coated.
  5. Let the salad sit for about 5-10 minutes to meld the flavors.
Serving
  1. Serve the salad fresh in individual bowls or on a large platter.
  2. Garnish with a few extra slices of tomatoes or bell peppers on top.
  3. Pair with your favorite protein if desired, but it’s delightful on its own!
