Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and allow it to cool slightly.
- Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
Use high-quality cocoa powder for a richer flavor. For even fudgier brownies, slightly underbake them. You can swap out some of the all-purpose flour for almond flour for a nutty flavor. Chill the brownies in the fridge for a firmer texture.
