Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare aluminum foil sheets, about 12 inches long.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chicken breasts, barbecue sauce, and seasonings.
- Place the mixture in the center of each foil sheet.
- Add sliced bell peppers and onions on top of the chicken.
- Fold the foil over the chicken to create a sealed packet.
- Place the packets on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and carefully open the foil packets.
- Serve warm, allowing for juices to soak into the filling.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken for at least an hour before cooking. To achieve extra crispiness, broil the packets for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
