Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Heat-treat the all-purpose flour by baking it on a cookie sheet for 8 minutes or microwaving at 75% power for 1 minute until it reaches 165°F.
- In a heatproof bowl, combine the butter and chopped dark chocolate. Microwave in 45-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.
- Use an electric mixer to beat in the granulated sugar and vanilla extract for 2 minutes. Add the milk and continue mixing until well combined.
- Sift in the heat-treated flour and cocoa powder, add the salt, and mix until well blended.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Storage
- Transfer the brownie batter to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week.
Notes
Chill the batter before serving for a thicker consistency. You can add nuts or other mix-ins for extra flavor.
