Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat-treat the flour by baking for 8 minutes or microwaving for 1 minute on 75% power until it reaches 165°F.
- Melt the butter and chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl using a microwave in 45-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Using an electric mixer, beat in the sugar and vanilla extract for 2 minutes, then add the milk and mix until combined.
- Sift in the heat-treated flour and cocoa powder, add salt, and stir until well blended.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the brownie batter to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week.
Notes
For a thicker consistency, chill the batter before serving. Use high-quality chocolate for a richer flavor.
