Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Dark chocolate chips Use high-quality dark chocolate for best results.
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil Helps to create a smooth texture in the chocolate.
  • 1 cup Roasted and salted peanuts Provides crunch and flavor.
  • 1 tsp Flaked sea salt Optional, enhances sweetness and adds savory element.

Method

Preparation
  1. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and smooth (or use a double boiler).
  3. Fold in most of the peanuts, saving a few for topping.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture onto the baking sheet and spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the reserved peanuts (and sea salt, if using) on top.
  5. Refrigerate for 20 minutes, or until firm. Let the bark sit at room temperature before cutting into pieces.
  6. Store in an airtight container at room temperature, in the fridge, or freezer for up to 1 month.

Notes

To customize, consider adding dried fruits, different nuts, or drizzling with melted white chocolate. Avoid overheating the chocolate and always stir while melting to prevent it from seizing.
