  • 6 cups Fresh Peaches, peeled, sliced, and pitted Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Add half to the peaches.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon This complements the peaches.
For the Crumble Topping
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats Provides texture.
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Add remaining amount for topping.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Adds extra flavor to the topping.
  • 1/2 cup Butter, softened Ensure it's softened for mixing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel, slice, and remove the pits from your fresh peaches.
  2. In your crockpot, add the sliced peaches along with half of the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring to combine.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the peach layer in the crockpot.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. The topping should be golden and the peaches bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an indulgent treat. For added flavor, consider a splash of almond extract along with the vanilla.
