Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic over the chicken.
  3. Pour the cream of chicken soup over the chicken and onions, ensuring everything is well coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix slightly to combine.
  5. Add the broccoli florets on top of the mixture, allowing them to steam as it cooks.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Once cooked, stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the chicken and add broccoli in the last hour of cooking. You can also substitute for lower-calorie options.
