Method
 

Phase 1 – Prep
  1. Spiralize the zucchini. Prepare your zucchini noodles by carefully slicing them into strips or using a spiralizer.
  2. Drain the moisture. Place your zucchini noodles into a colander over the sink, sprinkle them lightly with sea salt, and allow to drain off any moisture for about 10 minutes.
Phase 2 – Cook
  1. Heat the oil. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the avocado oil.
  2. Sauté mushrooms and garlic. Add the mushrooms and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes.
  3. Add arrowroot powder. Stir in the arrowroot powder and cook for about a minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Incorporate milk. Continue to stir while gradually adding in the milk until fully incorporated and smooth.
