Preparation
- Wash the strawberries gently under cool water and pat dry with a paper towel. Ensure they are completely dry to help the chocolate adhere.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Dipping and Setting
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, holding it by the stem, and let the excess chocolate drip off.
- Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle with sea salt or toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate chips for better flavor. Experiment with milk or white chocolate for different tastes. You can speed up cooling by placing the baking sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes.
