Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) with the fan off.
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat the softened butter and white sugar together for 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, sea salt, and cornstarch.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing well.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and dark chocolate chunks.
- If the dough is too dry, add milk to reach the desired consistency.
- Use a scoop to place tablespoon-sized balls of dough on the baking sheet, keeping them 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Place in the oven and bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are golden but the center remains soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
