Ingredients
  

For the Chocolate Cake
  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix Use your favorite brand, following package instructions.
For the Flan
  • 1 can Condensed Milk Adds sweetness and creaminess.
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk Enhances creamy texture.
  • 4 large Eggs Binds the flan.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Adds depth to the flavor.
  • 1 cup Sugar Creates a sweet caramel layer.
For Caramel Preparation
  • 1 tablespoon Butter For greasing the bundt pan.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and pour it into a greased bundt pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth for the flan.
  4. Slowly pour the flan mixture over the chocolate cake batter in the bundt pan.
  5. Cover the bundt pan with aluminum foil and place it inside a larger baking dish filled with water to create a water bath.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Remove from oven and let it cool before inverting onto a serving plate.

Notes

For best results, substitute whole milk for evaporated milk, add a pinch of salt to enhance chocolate flavor, and let the chocoflan cool completely before inverting.
