Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the croutons.
  2. Cut your bread into cubes and spread them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper; toss to coat.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the croutons bake, chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large bowl.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken breast into strips and add them to the lettuce.
  7. Add grated Parmesan cheese and toss everything together.
  8. Once the croutons are done, let them cool slightly, then add them to the salad.
  9. Drizzle Caesar dressing over the top and toss until everything is well-coated.
  10. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of black pepper.

Notes

For best results, use day-old bread for croutons. Swap chicken for grilled shrimp or tofu for a different protein. Prep ingredients ahead for quicker assembly during busy mealtimes.
