Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F and allow it to heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll the dough into a 14-inch circle on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spray a 12-inch cast iron skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Move the dough to the skillet, working it halfway up the sides to form a crust.
  5. Brush 1 tablespoon of olive oil on top, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano, and poke holes to vent.
  6. Place the skillet on the lower rack and bake for 5 minutes, then dab away excess oil.
Baking
  1. Top with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and optional toppings.
  2. Return to the lower rack and bake for 10 more minutes.
  3. Brush the crust with melted butter, transfer to the upper rack, and broil at 425 degrees F for 1 minute, watching closely.
  4. Allow to rest for 3 to 5 minutes before sliding onto a cutting board. Slice and serve.
