Preparation
- Prepare the pineapple by laying the spears on a pan and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
Making the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. If the mixture seems thick, warm it in the microwave for a few seconds to make it easier to pour.
Grilling
- Brush the caramel mixture on top of the pineapple using a cooking brush.
- Grill the pineapple for about 7-10 minutes over medium heat, turning until the pineapple starts to turn golden brown.
- Brush any excess sauce from the pan back on top of the pineapple before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best texture and flavor experience. Pairs well with ice cream or yogurt. Brush with extra sauce halfway through grilling for added flavor.
