Method
 

Cooking the Tortellini
  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the tortellini in a colander and rinse under cold water to cool.
Mixing the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled tortellini, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped fresh basil.
Making the Dressing
