Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add the brownie mix and all-purpose flour, and whisk until combined.
  4. Incorporate the eggs, vegetable oil, and water into the dry mixture.
  5. Using a hand mixer, blend the ingredients and scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  6. Gently fold the semi-sweet chocolate chunks into the dough.
  7. Use a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the tops have a thin film and small cracks begin to surface.
  2. Transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack and allow them to cool for about 10 minutes.

Notes

Add a pinch of sea salt to enhance the chocolate flavor. Use high-quality chocolate chunks for richer taste. Mix until just combined to keep the cookies tender. Experiment with different types of chocolate chunks like dark or white chocolate.
