Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, mash, and let cool.
  2. Add the cooled mashed potatoes and warm milk to your bread machine.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the bread machine.
  5. Cut butter into small pieces and add it to the mixture.
  6. Select the dough setting on your bread machine and start it.
  7. Once the cycle is complete, remove the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Let the rolls rise for another 15-20 minutes until doubled in size.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter if desired.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a better rise. Substitute whole wheat flour for a healthier option. Keep your yeast fresh by storing it in the fridge. For best results, allow enough rise time and avoid overbaking.
