Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C).
  2. Line a 9-inch square baking tin with parchment paper.
  3. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped butter and chocolate pieces, then microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted.
  4. Stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.
  5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then whisk until just combined.
  6. Gently mix in 3/4 cup of the chocolate chips and 1 cup of blueberries.
  7. Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking tin and spread evenly.
  8. Top with the remaining chocolate chips and blueberries.
  9. Bake for 35 minutes or until the edges are firm and the center is slightly soft.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool in the tin before removing and slicing into squares.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality chocolate and ensure not to overheat your butter when melting. Leftovers can last for up to a week in the refrigerator.
