Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray an 8x8 inch baking dish with non-stick baking spray and set it aside.
Making the Brownies
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and butter in 30-second increments, stirring in between until fully melted.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate/butter mixture into a larger bowl and add cocoa powder, espresso powder (if using), and salt; stir until well mixed.
  3. Stir in both granulated sugar and dark brown sugar until combined.
  4. Whisk in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and oil until fully mixed.
  5. Carefully fold in the flour and half of the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool for 15-30 minutes in the baking dish.
Making the Frosting

  2. Beat in heavy cream on high speed for 2 minutes until fluffy.
Finishing Touches

  2. Cut into squares and enjoy your delicious creation.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality chocolate, allow brownies to cool completely before frosting, and consider adding colored sprinkles for decoration.
