Preparation
  1. Start by washing the strawberries under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Remove the green tops from the strawberries and slice them into halves.
  3. Cut the fresh mozzarella into similar-sized pieces as the strawberries.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with the mozzarella pieces.
  5. Tear the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl.
  6. Drizzle balsamic vinegar and olive oil over the salad, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. Gently toss everything together until well-coated, being careful not to crush the strawberries.
  8. Serve immediately or let it marinate for a few minutes to enhance the flavors.

Notes

Choose ripe strawberries for the best sweetness and flavor. You can add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Serve the salad cold for the most refreshing taste.
