Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F for crispy chicken wings.
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl, add the jerk spice blend, drizzle with avocado oil, and season with sea salt. Mix with your hands to ensure they’re fully coated.
Cooking
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Lay the chicken wings in a single layer on the lined baking pan.
- Bake the wings in the oven for 45-50 minutes until cooked through and skin is crispy, rotating the wings halfway through (around 20 minutes) for even cooking.
Serving
- While the wings bake, add the cherry tomatoes, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro/parsley, red vinegar, salt, and pepper to a food processor. Pulse until you reach your desired salsa consistency.
- Serve the salsa in a small bowl, garnish with extra cilantro or parsley. Arrange the wings on a platter and serve with the spicy salsa.
Notes
Let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor. Use a wire rack for better air circulation for even crispiness. Consider serving with celery sticks and blue cheese for a classic game-day platter.
