Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the salsa.
- Grate both types of cheese and mix them in another bowl.
Cooking
- Place a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla, top with cheese, and roll up tightly.
- Lay the rolled flautas seam-side down on the greased baking sheet.
- Lightly spray the tops of the rolled flautas with cooking spray.
- Bake for 15-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
- Serve with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole on the side.
Notes
Allow the flautas to cool slightly before serving to avoid burns. For best results, keep tortillas warm to prevent cracking.
