Preparation
  1. Start by finely chopping the red onion, jalapeño, and tomatoes. Set aside.
  2. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  3. Using a fork, mash the avocado until it reaches your desired creaminess.
  4. Add the chopped vegetables to the bowl.
  5. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Finely chop the cilantro and mix it in, along with a pinch of salt.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Notes

To prevent browning, choose ripe avocados and add lime juice right after cutting. Chill salsa for enhanced flavors.
